Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 27 April 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets out the rules governing the use of services supplied by ANOMONIX LTD, trading as ANOMONIX:Stack ("ANOMONIX:Stack", "we", "us", or "our").

This Policy applies to all services we provide, including but not limited to shared hosting, managed hosting, virtual private servers, cloud services, domains, DNS, email hosting, storage, web applications, support systems, control panels, APIs, and any related infrastructure or add-on services.

By ordering, accessing, renewing, or using any ANOMONIX:Stack service, you agree to comply with this Policy. This Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms & Conditions and any applicable service agreement.

1. Purpose of This Policy

Our platform is a shared and interconnected environment. This Policy exists to protect:

  • the security, integrity, and availability of our services
  • the stability of our infrastructure and networks
  • other customers, users, and third parties
  • the reputation of our IP space, domains, mail systems, and upstream providers
  • our legal and regulatory compliance obligations.

You must use our services responsibly, lawfully, and in a way that does not interfere with the operation of our systems or the rights of others.

2. General Standard of Use

You may use our services only for lawful purposes and only in a way that is consistent with this Policy, our Terms & Conditions, and all applicable laws and regulations.

You must not use our services in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, harmful, offensive, malicious, or likely to expose us, our suppliers, or our customers to risk, liability, disruption, or reputational harm.

3. Illegal, Fraudulent, and Abusive Activity

You must not use our services:

  • to break any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • to commit, facilitate, promote, or conceal fraud, theft, deception, or dishonesty
  • to impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity, authority, or affiliation
  • to operate scams, fake storefronts, fake support portals, fake login pages, or fraudulent landing pages
  • to engage in phishing, pharming, credential harvesting, social engineering, or identity theft
  • to distribute or facilitate unlawful financial schemes, counterfeit operations, or criminal marketplaces
  • to host or support any service designed primarily to enable unlawful conduct.

4. Prohibited Content and Activity

You must not host, publish, transmit, distribute, or make available any content or activity that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, abusive, harassing, or invasive of privacy
  • is fraudulent, misleading, or intentionally deceptive
  • promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, or organised criminal activity
  • depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, or any unlawful sexual content
  • promotes hatred, discrimination, or targeted abuse against individuals or groups
  • infringes intellectual property rights, database rights, confidentiality rights, or other legal rights of any person
  • is used to sell or distribute illegal goods, controlled items, stolen goods, or unlawful services
  • is designed to exploit minors or vulnerable persons
  • is otherwise unlawful or materially harmful.

We may remove, disable, restrict, or report any content that we reasonably believe breaches this Policy or creates legal, safety, or platform risk.

5. Spam, Email Abuse, and Messaging Abuse

You must not use our services to send, route, relay, distribute, or support:

  • unsolicited bulk email
  • spam
  • phishing emails
  • spoofed messages
  • misleading transactional mail
  • purchased, scraped, rented, or harvested mailing lists
  • excessive or abusive outbound mail volumes inconsistent with the service purchased
  • mail that causes blacklisting, blocklisting, deliverability degradation, or reputation damage to our systems or IP ranges.

You must not use our services for list bombing, mail flooding, auto-generated nuisance mail, or abusive messaging through forms, scripts, contact systems, or ticket systems.

You are responsible for maintaining lawful consent where required, recipient list hygiene, proper authentication records, and safe mailing practices.

We may throttle, block, suspend, or terminate email functionality at any time to protect our infrastructure, sending reputation, or third parties.

6. Malware, Exploitation, and Harmful Code

You must not use our services to host, distribute, execute, or facilitate:

  • malware
  • ransomware
  • spyware
  • keyloggers
  • trojans
  • worms
  • viruses
  • botnet software
  • malicious scripts
  • exploit kits
  • backdoors
  • unauthorised remote access tools
  • code intended to disrupt, damage, intercept, monitor, or exfiltrate data or systems.

You must not knowingly host compromised websites, infected applications, weaponised scripts, malicious redirects, or any content used to attack or infect third parties.

If your service becomes compromised, you must cooperate promptly with any containment, cleanup, credential reset, patching, isolation, or remediation measures we require.

7. Network Abuse and Security Violations

You must not use our services to:

  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any network, system, service, or account without proper authorisation
  • perform brute-force attacks, credential stuffing, dictionary attacks, or password spraying
  • intercept traffic, spoof packets, poison DNS, hijack sessions, or exploit routing vulnerabilities
  • launch denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks
  • disrupt, degrade, overburden, or interfere with networks, servers, applications, or services
  • gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, data, account, panel, API, or network
  • bypass authentication or security controls
  • use our services as a command-and-control point, bounce point, relay, or attack origin.

Any security testing is prohibited unless we have expressly authorised it in writing for the specific service and time period involved. Unauthorised testing, scanning, or load generation will be treated as abuse.

8. Resource Abuse and Platform Misuse

You must not use our services in a way that places unreasonable, excessive, or disproportionate demand on shared or allocated resources.

Prohibited misuse includes:

  • sustained excessive CPU, memory, disk I/O, network, or process consumption
  • deliberate or negligent overloading of shared infrastructure
  • abusive automation that harms service stability
  • using the service in a way materially inconsistent with the purchased plan or advertised use case
  • repeated crashes, runaway scripts, poorly controlled loops, or workloads that destabilise the environment.

Where a service is designed for websites, web applications, email, or normal business hosting use, you must not repurpose it as a substitute for specialist high-load, compute-heavy, or abusive workloads.

9. Proxies, Anonymisation, and Traffic Relay

Unless expressly permitted in writing for the service purchased, you must not use our services to operate:

  • open proxies
  • public proxies
  • anonymous proxies
  • public VPN endpoints
  • public relay nodes
  • traffic forwarding services designed to disguise source activity
  • services designed primarily to evade enforcement, abuse detection, or geo-controls.

We may suspend any service that creates disproportionate abuse complaints, blacklist issues, or law-enforcement attention due to anonymisation or relay behaviour.

10. File Distribution, Storage, and Sharing Abuse

Unless the purchased service expressly permits it, you must not use our services primarily as:

  • a bulk file-distribution network
  • a public mirror service
  • a general storage vault unrelated to the hosted website or application
  • a backup dump
  • a media-leeching service
  • a peer-to-peer distribution node
  • a file-sharing hub.

You must not use our services to distribute pirated software, cracked software, leaked data, stolen data, warez, or infringing media.

11. Peer-to-Peer, Torrenting, and Similar Distribution

Unless expressly authorised for the relevant service, you must not use our services for:

  • BitTorrent clients, trackers, or seedboxes
  • peer-to-peer file distribution
  • torrent indexing or torrent hosting
  • magnet-link distribution intended for infringing or abusive use
  • any similar decentralised distribution mechanism primarily associated with abuse, infringement, or excessive network load.

12. Cryptocurrency Mining and Abuse of Compute Resources

You must not use our services for cryptocurrency mining, coin mining, hashing, staking infrastructure abuse, illicit blockchain activity, or similar compute-intensive activity unless we expressly state that the relevant product supports it.

You must also not use our services to support cryptojacking, wallet theft, malicious mining scripts, or unauthorised use of third-party compute resources.

13. Resale, Subletting, and Unauthorised Third-Party Use

Unless your service expressly permits resale or multi-client use, you must not:

  • resell our services as standalone hosting or infrastructure
  • sublet resources to unrelated third parties
  • provide anonymous public hosting through your account
  • allow your account to be used as a shell provider for unknown third parties
  • use our services to conceal the real operator of abusive content or abusive traffic.

Where multi-client use is permitted, you remain fully responsible for the conduct, content, security, and compliance of all downstream users under your account.

14. Domain and DNS Abuse

You must not use domains, DNS, or related services supplied by us for:

  • phishing
  • fast-flux operations
  • malicious redirection
  • typo-squatting in bad faith
  • counterfeit impersonation
  • malware delivery
  • scam landing pages
  • illegal marketplaces
  • abusive disposable infrastructures.

You must maintain accurate account and registrant information where required, and you must respond promptly to abuse, verification, or registry-related requests.

15. Customer Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for securing your own services, websites, scripts, applications, CMS installations, plugins, mailboxes, credentials, and connected devices.

You must take reasonable steps to:

  • keep software current
  • patch known vulnerabilities
  • remove unsupported software
  • secure administrative interfaces
  • maintain backups appropriate to your own needs
  • protect credentials and API keys
  • monitor for compromise or abuse.

A failure to secure your own services does not excuse resulting abuse, spam, malware, or attacks launched through your account.

16. Monitoring, Investigation, and Cooperation

We may monitor, investigate, review, or take technical or administrative action in relation to use of our services where reasonably necessary to:

  • protect our services, networks, customers, suppliers, or third parties
  • investigate suspected abuse, security incidents, or policy breaches
  • comply with law, regulation, court orders, registry rules, or requests from competent authorities
  • preserve service integrity and operational stability.

You must cooperate promptly and in good faith with any reasonable request relating to abuse handling, security incidents, complaints, remediation, content removal, verification, or compliance.

17. Enforcement and Remedial Action

If we reasonably believe that this Policy has been breached, or that your use of the services creates risk, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including without limitation:

  • issuing a warning
  • requiring remediation within a specified period
  • removing or disabling access to content
  • suspending specific functions, such as email, DNS, or web access
  • rate-limiting or isolating a service
  • resetting credentials or locking access
  • refusing renewal
  • suspending the affected service
  • terminating the affected service or account
  • reporting relevant information to registries, upstream providers, payment providers, law enforcement, regulators, or affected third parties
  • taking legal action where appropriate.

We may act without prior notice where we reasonably consider immediate action necessary to protect our infrastructure, other customers, third parties, or compliance position.

18. No Right to Compensation for Abuse Enforcement

Where we suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate services because of breach of this Policy, suspected abuse, security risk, unlawful activity, or platform protection measures, you will not be entitled to compensation, credit, or refund except where required by law or expressly provided by our Refund Policy.

19. Relationship with Other Terms

This Policy supplements our Terms & Conditions and any service-specific terms.

If there is any conflict between this Policy and another policy or agreement in relation to acceptable use, security, abuse, or platform protection, we may apply whichever provision gives us the broader ability to protect our services, comply with law, and prevent harm.

20. Acceptable Use Enforcement and Billing Providers

ANOMONIX remains responsible for acceptable-use enforcement, service suspension, abuse handling, and platform security regardless of the payment provider, merchant of record, or reseller used for billing.

21. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time.

The latest version published by us will apply from its stated effective date. Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
