CANCELLATION POLICY
Last updated: 18 May 2026
This Cancellation Policy explains how service cancellations, renewals, termination requests, and account closure are handled by ANOMONIX LTD, trading as ANOMONIX:Stack ("ANOMONIX:Stack", "we", "us", or "our").
This Policy applies to purchases of hosting and related services made through ANOMONIX:Stack, whether purchased directly, through a recurring subscription, or through a renewal process.
This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By purchasing, renewing, or using our services, you agree to this Cancellation Policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
- This Policy applies to services including, where offered:
- shared hosting
- managed hosting
- virtual private servers
- managed cloud services
- domain registration and renewal services
- SSL certificates
- DNS services
- email hosting
- migration services
- setup or configuration services
- add-ons, licences, and third-party products.
Different cancellation rules may apply depending on the type of service, whether the service has already been provisioned, whether third-party costs have been incurred, whether a renewal has already been processed, and whether the service has already been used or activated.
2. Cancellation and Refunds Are Separate
Cancelling a service stops future billing or future renewal where cancellation is completed in time.
Cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Refunds are handled separately under our Refund Policy. A service may be cancelled but not refundable, depending on the product purchased, the timing of the request, the service status, third-party costs, and any applicable legal rights.
3. Cancelling Recurring Hosting Services
You may cancel an eligible recurring hosting service at any time through the billing, account, or support method we make available.
Unless you request immediate termination, or unless we are required to remove the service sooner for legal, operational, abuse-related, or security reasons, cancellation will usually stop future renewal and allow the service to remain active until the end of the paid billing period.
After the paid billing period ends, the service may expire, be suspended, or be deleted.
You are responsible for ensuring that any cancellation request is submitted before the renewal date.
4. Renewals and Cancellation Timing
You are responsible for managing your renewal settings, billing details, payment methods, and cancellation requests before a renewal payment is processed.
If a renewal payment has already been taken, cancellation will normally prevent the next renewal but will not automatically reverse the renewal that has already occurred.
Renewal payments are generally non-refundable once processed, especially where the renewal preserves access, extends a service, registers or renews a third-party product, or incurs third-party provider costs.
5. Immediate Cancellation or Termination
You may request immediate cancellation or termination of a service.
If immediate termination is requested or confirmed, service access may end immediately or shortly afterwards.
Immediate cancellation may result in deletion, suspension, or loss of access to websites, hosting accounts, email accounts, files, databases, backups, DNS settings, licences, configurations, or other associated service data.
You are responsible for downloading, migrating, or otherwise securing any data you wish to keep before requesting immediate cancellation or termination.
6. Domains and Domain-Related Services
Domain names are subject to registry, registrar, and extension-specific rules.
Cancelling a hosting service does not automatically cancel, refund, transfer, or release any domain name connected to that service.
Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, redemption fees, restoration fees, premium domain fees, and registry or registrar charges are generally non-refundable once the relevant process has begun.
If you want to cancel, transfer, disable auto-renewal, or otherwise manage a domain, you must follow the domain management process we make available.
Failure to renew or maintain a domain may result in expiry, suspension, deletion, redemption fees, or loss of the domain.
7. SSL Certificates, Add-Ons, Licences, and Third-Party Products
Some products cannot be cancelled or refunded once issued, activated, provisioned, renewed, or materially used.
- This may include:
- SSL certificates once issued
- dedicated IP addresses
- software licences
- third-party subscriptions
- setup fees
- migration fees
- custom configuration work
- professional services work
- one-off support, administration, or engineering work
- usage-based charges
- provider, registry, registrar, or platform charges already incurred.
Cancelling the main hosting service does not automatically cancel every related add-on, licence, domain, email product, or third-party service unless that cancellation is expressly confirmed.
8. VPS, Managed Cloud, and Server-Class Services
VPS, managed cloud, dedicated, server-class, or higher-risk infrastructure services may have stricter cancellation rules than standard hosting services.
Where server-class services have already been deployed, configured, reserved, licensed, or materially used, cancellation may not result in a refund.
For larger, custom, managed, enterprise, or whiteglove infrastructure arrangements, cancellation terms may be set out in a separate quote, agreement, invoice, service order, or written confirmation.
9. Bundles, Promotions, and Minimum Terms
Where a service was purchased as part of a bundle, promotion, discount, free-month offer, discounted setup, or minimum-term arrangement, cancellation may affect the benefits attached to that offer.
- If cancellation ends eligibility for a promotion, we may adjust any refund, credit, or remaining service entitlement to reflect:
- products or services already provided
- third-party costs already incurred
- retained domains, certificates, licences, or add-ons
- loss of promotional pricing
- minimum-term conditions
- bundled-product adjustments.
10. Account Closure
You may request closure of your customer account where no active services, unpaid invoices, unresolved disputes, ongoing investigations, legal obligations, or retention requirements prevent closure.
Closing an account may permanently remove access to account records, service management, billing history, support history, files, websites, email accounts, databases, backups, DNS settings, and associated services.
We may retain records where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-handling, security, or legitimate business purposes.
11. Suspension or Termination by Us
- We may suspend, restrict, cancel, or terminate a service or account where we reasonably believe there has been:
- non-payment
- fraud or attempted fraud
- chargeback abuse
- spam, phishing, malware, or network abuse
- excessive resource abuse
- unlawful activity
- breach of our Terms & Conditions
- breach of our Acceptable Use Policy
- misuse of our services, systems, support, billing, or refund process
- risk to our platform, suppliers, customers, infrastructure, or reputation.
Where a service is suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, chargeback abuse, or serious breach, no refund will normally be due.
12. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first giving us a reasonable opportunity to review a valid billing, cancellation, or refund request, we may suspend or terminate the associated services and account pending investigation.
A chargeback does not create an automatic right to retain any service, domain, licence, data, hosting account, or access that was purchased using the disputed payment.
We reserve the right to contest unjustified disputes and to recover amounts properly due to us.
13. Data and Backups Before Cancellation
You are responsible for downloading, exporting, migrating, or otherwise securing any data you wish to retain before cancellation, expiry, suspension, termination, or account closure.
- This may include:
- website files
- databases
- email accounts and mailboxes
- DNS settings
- domain records
- application files
- backups
- configuration settings
- billing or account records available to you.
We are not responsible for loss of data resulting from cancellation, non-renewal, suspension, termination, expiry, account closure, deletion, or failure to maintain a backup.
14. How to Request Cancellation
Cancellation requests should be submitted through the billing, control panel, account, or support method we make available for your account.
If no account method is available, you may contact us at:
- To help us process your request, you should include:
- the account email address
- the relevant service, domain, or product
- the invoice, order, or transaction reference if available
- whether you want cancellation at the end of the paid period or immediate termination
- any relevant reason for the request.
Submitting a request does not guarantee an immediate refund, immediate termination, or reversal of a payment that has already been processed.
15. Consumer Cancellation Rights
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy affects any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Where you are a consumer and the law gives you cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be excluded, those rights will continue to apply.
Where you request that a service begins during a statutory cancellation period, and the law permits us to do so, we may deduct an amount that reflects the value of the service already supplied up to the point of cancellation.
Where a service has been fully performed, provisioned, activated, issued, or supplied with your consent during a statutory cancellation period, your cancellation rights may be affected to the extent permitted by law.
16. Third-Party Billing and Cancellation Systems
Cancelling a service with ANOMONIX does not automatically guarantee a refund. Where billing is handled through a third-party merchant of record, reseller, or payment provider, including Paddle where applicable, subscription billing, payment cancellation, invoices/receipts, and refund processing may be handled through that provider’s buyer/payment systems.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The version published on our website at the time of your purchase, renewal, or cancellation request will normally apply to that transaction, unless a later version is required by law or expressly stated to apply.
